Question about grade 4 resource from the Overview...

Donna (or anyone!)-

In the Overview you speak highly of the D'aulaire's book "Norse Gods and Goddesses" - but I can't find it! By any chance is it the same as their book "Norse Myths" (just retitled)? If not, do you know of an alternate resource (i.e. would "The Children of Odin" fill the same bill?)?

Dear Penny,

Yes - yikes!:o There was a long thread about this on the old yahoo group as people tried to figure out what te real title is - and the one in the Overview is the wrong title!! Terrible! It's proper title is "Norse Gods and Giants". So sorry for the confusion!

Nope - it's been reprinted recently. I was just on Amazon looking for you - they have one of their little sales and you can get it for $16 and something "if you buy now". Enjoy!:)
