Hi Everyone,
In the thread previous to this one, you'll see I have written out a schedule for our upcoming studies. Of course, no one is obliged to join in and those who read but do not post are always welcome - nevertheless, it is always helpful to me to be able to gage interest. So.... if you are planning in joining in on the Glockler discussion (on the will and morality) do let me know. Any other comments or questions on our past or upcoming studies are also most welcome!

I am planning to participate in the study. Planned to last time, too, although I just didn't have the focused time to sit at the computer and make thoughtful posts. Also, the study went in a different direction than I anticipated (I think I was formulating more basic anthroposophical questions i.e. about Elemental Beings) and once I got my bearings, it was time to switch! I did some serious lurking, though, and printed out all of the posts and read them at night back at home ( we don't have a computer at home), so I did participate in a more personal, perhaps more passive way.
My hope and plan is still to carve out several hours a week for myself on the computer sans children so that I can particiapate more fully. I hope the "lurking" aspect of my involvement will transform into a more active one!
Thank you, Donna, for "anchoring" this and setting it up for all of us. It is a wonderful opportunity for self reflection and development, and even just looking into what's going on here gives me a sense of community and support.
Cheers!

i will be on this one too. i really feel like i haven't even start with the previous study...maybe it will be like the waves on the seashore, little by little they caress the sand underneath them and in each breath they take some of it with them to the ocean. I am looking forward to modelate my will! greetings,
Raquel&David, with Maria, Rebecca and little baby Samuel 11 days old.
Hi Donna,
I will be participating in the study of the Glockler article, and will also be participating in the article by Steiner on the temperments, as well as the Easter study on the Madonna images. I will decline on the six basic exercises by Steiner - simply because my understanding of the purpose of the excercises, as indicated by Steiner, is to strengthen oneself as an individual - to work on these as a group would, for me personally, defeat the purpose. For me, it is the conditioning of my own inner will to practice the exercises on my own that makes these excersises powerful to me.
Blessings,
Opal

Glad to see that a number of you will be joining in - and I'd like to say a hearty you're welcome in response to all the thanks shared - that is the purpose of this Forum and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work with you like this. As always, I am open to suggestions.
Opal - I definitely hear what you are saying about the exercises. And that is, in part, where some of my reservations about this come from. However, I should say that my intention was not to work on these exercises as a group - rather, that people interested would undertake them at home, as individuals, and that they could then share with others, via this Forum, what they experienced. There's no way I would conduct any sort of group thing - and I'm not sure how one could via the Internet anyway!:)
